Baltimore Album Applique Class

Want to leave the sewing machine behind and enter the liberating world of the 19th century hand applique? We will be making flowers and basket blocks to assemble into a wall quilt or bed quilt like those talented ladies of Baltimore did so many years ago. Learn ruching, several hand applique techniques including needle turn and the use of freezer paper, papercuts, fine stems and baskets to name a few. Some hand sewing experience is helpful but not required. If you can thread a needle you can applique! Supply list will be provided.
