Upcoming Events and Workshops

WE'RE EXCITED ABOUT OUR NEW BASKET WORKSHOP!  Come make a basket on Saturday, March 3rd.  Our new instructor, Theresa Healy, will show you how!  During this workshop, you will create a basket that you'll bring home with you!  Instructor will provide the materials for a $20 material fee; to be paid to the instructor the day of the workshop.  Tuition is $16 for members, and $20 for non-members. Give us a call (413) 452-0465, to register.

LANDSCAPE QUILT WORKSHOP.  Come learn to make a "Landscape quilt" from our own Marsha Molloy.  In this workshop, you will create a landscape with cloth.  Bring some inspiration to make your very own landscape, as well as the fabric you will use to create it.  The Landscape Workshop is Saturday, 2/25 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Give us a call, (413) 532-0465, to register.

Our "Fitting Commercial Patterns" workshop will take place on Saturday, 3/3 from 10:00am - 1:00 pm.  Come meet our Sewing Instructor, Sue Bennett.  She's a pro and will give you the tools and information to get started with custom fitting a commercial pattern to your own specifications.  Sue teaches all our sewing classes and has a wonderful following!  There's a rumor buzzing around that one of Sue's students is a budding designer who has his eye set on auditioning for the television show "Project Runway"!

Our own Trudy is, once again, teaching her Jewelry Workshop!  She's a wonderful lady with a lot of talent!  Bring your enthusiasm for jewelry, and Trudy will show you how to turn that into some "Serious Bling"!  Next workshops:  2/23, 3/10, 3/31, 4/21.

Come check out our other workshops that will be running this month and next:  Cupcakes for St. Patrick's Day, Handbags and Scarves, Works in Progress (Quilting), Quilt Til you Wilt, Make Pillows and Valances!
