Teaching a workshop at Holyoke Creative Arts Center is a great way to build creative communities and connect with people interested in learning about your craft. Whether you are a professional artist or someone who simply loves to create and inspire others, we welcome instructors to share their knowledge and skills with the community.

​

We welcome interested instructors for our core class offerings, as well as one-day workshops. Our 3,000 square foot studio space is equipped with large work tables, both residential and commercial sewing machines. Our smaller studio can accommodate many crafts.

Upholstery Instructor 

We are currently seeking an experienced Upholstery Instructor to teach fundamental furniture upholstery techniques in a workshop-style setting. Each student works on their own individual project, with skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced.

The instructor will provide hands-on guidance throughout these projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong practical upholstery skills—including proficiency with industrial sewing machines—and a passion for helping students develop their skills and confidence.
