HCAC Open House & Silent Chair Auction

Holyoke Creative Arts Center (150 Front Street, Suite 5, West Springfield, MA 01089)
Silent auction to be held at HCAC on Saturday, June 28. Final bids accepted up until 12:45 pm on the 28th.
In person previews of chairs will be held the week prior to the auction.

Friday, 6/27 morning10:00 am to 1:00 pm
50/50 raffle and light refreshments will be served the day of. Decorative pillows will also be for sale.
Please come (bring a friend!) on June 28th to bid on these beautiful upholstered chairs, tour the center and experience our creative environment.

I wanted to take an upholstery class for a long time. I not only learned upholstery, but also how to repair furniture and the history of upholstery. I learned how to use simple tools such as nail and tack removers, hammers, and a power staple gun. Taking this class gave me the courage to take my next class at HCAC. I am currently taking woodcarving and have enjoyed and learned so much in this class. I never thought I could carve a flower, a dragon fly and now I am working on an angel ornament. I have enjoyed taking classes at HCAC and the next class I plan on taking will be sewing. I have made many friends and I want to thank all my instructors who have been great teachers, Annamarie, Gary, and James.
